Returns Policy

To return a product it must be:

  • Unused
  • In its original packaging.
  • Fit for resale.

We must receive it back within 7 days of being signed for, you must have approval from us to return the product. The cost of returning the unsuitable goods is at the expense of the customer. If Elegant Lighting is at fault we will cover the cost of the return.

Missing parts and damages must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. If any parts are received broken e.g. glass, shades etc. please contact us as soon as possible.

If you wish to make a return please email explaining which item you wish to return, the reason for returning the item and the action you would like us to take. If you request a refund then the amount paid will be refunded back onto your original payment card. Please allow up to 14 days for the exchange/refund.

All goods supplied by are from official sources and are covered by the normal manufacturers’ warranty. If an item has failed prematurely please contact us with details of the product and fault. Certain products may need to be returned to our supplier, for inspection and possible repair, before a credit can be issued. If an exchange is requested a replacement will be sent when stock is available.

Under the Sale of Goods and Supply of Services Act 1980, anything you buy from a retailer must be: of merchantable quality, fit for its normal purpose, and reasonably durable, as described, whether the description is part of the advertising or wrapping, on a label, or something said by the salesperson.

If the item is faulty you are entitled to a refund, a replacement a repair or in store credit. If the item is not faulty, you have no rights to a refund but we will offer an exchange or in store credit. The same applies if goods are the wrong size, unless they are clearly not the size described. This does not affect your statutory rights.
